"We stayed at Portou House for 5 nights and had an excellent time. Very good location in Chania Old Town. Communication was great from start to finish with Julia being very responsive. We were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of wine for my Partner’s birthday which was a nice touch. The only feedback we would have is that there was no full length mirror - think it would be good to consider including in the rooms. Many thanks Julia and team at Portou House. "

"The flat was brilliant and not too distant from the old town - 10 minute walk. However when I arrived at the property there was no receptionist and a sign pointing to the e-reception. I rang the bell on the keypad and got no response. I finally found a phone number and got through to someone who gave me a code to access my key - it was a real pain to search for a number I could contact them on - they had contacted me by email the day before to ask for my arrival time, and could easily have given...

"A gorgeous roof top penthouse apartment , very clean and spacious enough for 2. Although we didn’t meet the owner they will do anything to make your stay as good as possible. They can book taxis, book trips rent cars etc. we stayed 4 nights and the bedding and towels were changed after 2 nights. The beach and town centre is about 30 mins walk which we don’t mind a taxi is about 6 euros. We would definitely stay again . Lovely restaurant and bakery across the rd"
