"The staff at this hotel was TOP NOTCH. Each and every staff member we interacted with over the course of our trip was excellent! Breakfast was okay. It rotated hot items each day, so that was a huge plus. The building itself is quite dated, and our room reeked of old pipe tobacco & after-shave. Like it punched you in the face as soon as you opened the door. No matter what I tried, nothing took the smell out. "The entrance to the motel diffently needed cleaning up.Trash laying all over and not very appealing. Our room had a big hole in the wall a size approx 20 ×12 inches. Looks like they were repairing something there and never completed it, so why have anyone sleep there? I took a picture of it...... We have stayed in alot of Laquninta but this one is very disappointing."
