Struttura bellissima e arredata in maniera impeccabile, situata proprio nel centro di Mazara. La proprietaria è una signora molto colta che conosce bene sia la struttura dell’albergo che la storia della città. Unico neo è che in mezzo a tanta storia mancano un po’ di confort moderni, quindi consiglio questo hotel per un soggiorno breve, non superiore ai 3 giorni.

Location unica. Un insieme di stili che raccontano il carattere multietnico della città. Personale cordiale e allegro! Vi racconto la mia esperienza: ho avuto problemi con l’auto e quindi la necessità di trovare un rifugio in una giornata di pioggia dove comunque poter lavorare in attesa di avere il problema dell’auto risolto. Ho prenotato una camera al Melia Resort dove ho trovato una colazione ad attendermi anche se non avevo trascorso la notte e dei padroni di casa, allegri ed eccezionali! Mi sono sentita catapultata in una realtà fuori dal comune dove la calorosa accoglienza la fa da padrone. Andate se potete e godete di questa unicità nel cuore della Kasbah.

The communal areas of the hotel were lovely, and the staff were approachable and helpful. The room needed a lick of paint though, and we found it a bit on the small side. However, there were other rooms which looked better.

Simple hotel if you need a quick stopover

Stayed here for one night. A few things about this town. It's like a ghost town. There isn't much to do and the hotel was simple and did its job for a place to rest overnight. While we didn't have any issues with safety in the area, a police officer told is to be careful walking around the area. So we didn't tend to carry a lot of valuables on us for that reason. The guy that checked is in was very lovely and could even speak a little English. The rooms were clean and lots of locks on all doors inside and it so felt safe to leave our tings while out eating dinner.

J' ai été déçu par le fait que j' avais réservé une chambre dans le style de l' établissement et on m' a donné un appartement. Ca ne correspondait pas à ma réservation et je l' ai fait savoir. La responsable m' a expliqué que je ne pouvais pas changer, on m' a proposé une autre localisation mais complètement excentrée par rapport au centre ville. J' ai voulu quitter l'hôtel mais la responsable n'a pas voulu, à 95,62€ par nuit je comprends !!!, je me suis senti comme " prisonnier" alors que le monsieur de la réception m' avait dit être libre de mon choix. Par contre, les clients italiens ont eu la chambre de leur choix.... A part ça, le petit déjeuner est tout à fait basique, deux fois des problèmes de climatisation dans la chambre mais vite résolus,une seule ampoule sur trois qui fonctionne au lustre de la chambre, mais appartement propre .. Rapport qualité /prix onéreux, à ce prix là j' aurais pu avoir nettement mieux, je ne conseille pas cet hôtel

Particolare.....

Si trova nella Kasbah per cui è particolare e vale la pena fare qualche notte per vivere un'esperienza sicuramente unica. Franco che sarebbe il gestore dell'hotel ci ha fatto sentire come a casa cercando di ovviare ad ogni imprevisto (tipo mancanza acqua che è molto probabile avere in Sicilia).

In oude wijk in historisch huis, mooie binnentuin!

Bijzonder hotel, goede locatie met vriendelijk personeel. Parkeer je auto niet in de straat, het is erg smal voor het hotel. Onze kamer was in barokstijl ingericht.

Soggiorno a Mazara

La struttura è molto particolare e in effetti mantiene la promessa di essere la dimora più antica di Mazara, peraltro molto ben tenuta e curata. Ho trascorso una notte in questo bellissimo albergo il cui gestore mi ha riservato un graditissimo upgrade di stanza con soffitti affrescati. Nel cuore del centro di Mazara e a ridosso del quartiere etnico offre la possibilità di muoversi a piedi. Tornerei senz'altro.

I highly recommend Meliaresort Dimore Storiche

I can't say enough great things about the people at MDS. Helpful, friendly. Great people. Great location. Parking can be a bit difficult to find. Picturesque, romantic Hotel. Clean and tidy. Good breakfast. Good beds and pillows. A/C is good, but not great. It had a kitchen (although I think that was a free upgrade vs what I paid for), but the kitchen was not very functional. No gas connection to the gas stove. No hand towels. No can opener. Small frig and the freezer did not work well.

Friendly and beautifully decorated

Stayed one night but it was a very nice experience. The host made us very welcome, directed us to parking just steps from the hotel. Rooms are beautifully decorated and very individual. Ours was spacious and very clean. It had a small, well-equipped kitchen, excellent shower, comfortable bed.

Good stay in Sicily

Very pleasant stay. The Night clerk, Franko, was ESPECIALLY helpful and friendly. Franko is a really nice man and his personal hospitality made the stay great for all the guests! Breakfast was good and plentiful. The Hotel was Decorated very tastefully, beautiful really. Parking is available but we didn't have a car. The hotel is A bit Pricey for the town; & better values on B&B, by the water, can be found. (About 1/2 the price), that are closer to the center, activities & restaurants.

It was a beautiful place as described on website, the staff very accommodating but it was a few minutes walk before I felt comfortable in my surroundings in the evening
