"When I walked into the room, there was a foul smell, and the tub had old stains as if it had not been properly cleaned. I also saw roaches, which was completely unacceptable. I left the room immediately and checked out due to these poor conditions. This hotel should not be rated as a 3-star property."

"Room showed signs of significant wear. Dead bugs or other items on walls. Sheets had numerous red stains, maybe blood, pillowcase had a burn hole probably from a cigarette. I stayed 4 days because of work. They didn't service the room one time. The towels were not only hard, they were so black stained, you think someone was using them for automotive work. Definitely disappointed. I stayed here before several years ago and it was not this bad."

"Parking is easy but access points to motel are difficult. The rooms are surrounded by a gate so you have to go through the access points even if your room is on the other side. The rooms were fairly clean although the shower could have used a better scrub down. We had 6 bottles of conditioner, 1 bottle of shampoo, 1 set of towels for two of us and no toilet paper. The staff did replenish fairly quickly. The property could have used a good broom strick . The stairs concrete was falling apart....

"The top was moldy, the safety lock on the door was broken and the bed was squeaky. I checked out immediately and found another hotel. I am also looking to reimbursed for at least one night because I didn't stay at all"

"Property was a bit dated and could benefit from significant renovations. Smell of second hand smoke came through the vents to our room on many an occasion. The cleaning and front desk staff were all really helpful."

"I was so pleased with this stay. Exceptionally clean and spacious rooms - nice pool and friendly staff. We will be back here if we return to the area in the future!"

"We stayed one night. My wife was surprised that there wasn't a hair dryer provided many chains provide them. Not a big deal. The lighting in the room was dim. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very helpful. Alisha helped us big time with a noise neighbor playing music at 11pm. Thank you. Other then those small issues I would recommend this hotel and would stay again."

"Overall, a nice day. Some minor maintenance issues in the room(remote in room didn’t work, toilet chain broke in the middle of the night) Front desk staff and bar staff wonderful. Room was clean."

"The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. However, We expected a Marriott property to be better maintained. The kitchen cabinet was precariously hanging on the wall, almost falling off! This looked quite dangerous and we were scared to reach in for any dishes. The sofa cushions were old and sank down, making it difficult to sit. The bed was so old and the mattress sank down so much that we were both very stiff when we got up! "The photos of this property make it appear SIGNIFICANTLY nicer than it actually is. In reality, this place is VERY run down, dilapidated, and disgusting. We made a pit stop here for the night on our drive back to Maine from Myrtle Beach and immediately regretted it as soon as we got to our room. This place has total boarding house vibes.
