The staff are so lovely and the rooms are always in impeccable condition with a wide variety of ammenities that I still keep being pleasantly surprised by. I always reccommend Totara Lodge when friends and family mention wanting to find lodging near Wellington and have yet to hear any bad reviews from them either!"

"This is a great place to stay- central location to surrounding areas, shopping and eateries in Petone. We used parking facility and felt this was a great option due to limited parking in area. We felt very safe in this facility. Staff are very polite and helpful. Our room was very clean and noted some cracked tiles in bathroom which have been highlighted with management. We will definitely stay there again"

"It was a nice and affordable hotel! It's close to shops and close to the beach! There is 1 parking space allocated for you in front of your room and plenty of parking on the street! The driveway is a bit narrow so I suggest parking on the street if you have a big car! We stayed during winter so the beds having an electric blanket was a nice touch! It doesn't have a heat pump but there is a room wall/room heater and an electric fan provided. The twin rooms were located near the main road so it...

"Due to new management, we were informed on our check in that the lodge was undergoing upgrading and revamping of their accommodation. Staff was very friendly addressing me by my name which was lovely. Our room was very accommodating, with 2 brand new recliners, large spacious bed, kitchen facilities, lovely hot water for our showering so overall, we enjoyed our stay at a very affordable rate. We will definitely stay there again, and look forward to seeing the finishing touches to the property."
