"As soon as I walk in, I realize I can eat off this floor right now. That's how clean this place is. And I was like, d*** this place. This place smells so good. Holy man, look how bougie this place is man. All the lights have dimmer switches. The view is amazing Love the hot tub, but the black flies were brutal. They'll get you.\n But had a wonderful stay and will be back. The black won't bother you after Like 9 or 10 o'clock. And iwas like damn look at the shower head that's crazy."

"Extremely noisy at all hours of the day and night. Rundown suites, taps and bathrooms in need of work to be even ok. During our 10 night stay had leaks onto sink counter area from above suite, all our stuff on the counter got wet and soggy. No real concern about it when reported to front desk. The next morning had liters and liters of water pouring through bathroom ceiling heat lamp area and again reported to front desk and only somewhat concerned, they fixed the upstairs suite from us and...

"I stayed at Hollies Halifax for 5 days. We arrived late the first day (Wednesday) and was told AC broken for the hotel. We stayed on the 9th floor ... flat roof with a day temperature of 30C. A hot stuffy room was our welcome! No windows at all. We requested a fan,. the fan was very loud with a broken nob that we cannot adjust. "A great location! Very short walk to the beautiful public gardens, a decent but walkable distance to point pleasant park (gorgeous), and walkable distance to downtown. The staff were friendly and accommodating. A really neat building located right beside a neat older cemetery."
