Khách sạn Mdina Old City , Mdina

"Very friendly check in and reception. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast from great look out point. Set right in the ancient city which is great but made parking a challenge (park in free city lots/street). Breakfast was a slight let down for this price point. Service could be slow, forgetting items. Overall concept rather fussy with lots of served small items rather than choice/buffet. Also it grates to have paid a significant B&B rate only to be charged top up amounts for cooked items like eggs...

"Review “Style over Substance” We stayed at Palazzo Bifora 10-12 September 2026. The hotel is housed in a beautiful old building right in the heart of Mdina. There are only 6 rooms and superficially at least the hotel has been refurbished to a high standard. Each room is described as a suite, some may be bigger than our’s. Our ‘suite’, Mesquita, was tiny. So small in fact you cannot even fully open the wardrobe and it is only just possible to walk into the bathroom without turning...

"Clean and nice"

"Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. We were there for a wedding and then vacation. The wedding was in the hotel and it was spectacular."

"Really good hotel from most aspects, clean , friendly, helpful. Breakfast was very hectic though! Only problem is the location which is somewhat remote, involves a lot of travel to get to other areas of interest"

"The room was spacious with a lovely view as promised (and paid for). The outdoor pool was a highlight with enough room to get a workout (not exactly laps but it was big enough. The room was cleaned well. One note for improvement would be the breakfast which as just OK, with nothing really top notch and the coffee, delivered in pots to our tables was very poor. It tasted like a weird blend of instant coffee and mud. We didn't try ordering special coffee such as cappuccino so can comment on...

"Very"

Bra beliggenhet midt i sentrum, men forbausende stille likevel. Kort vei til busser. Litt langt å spasere...

"The hotel is clean and the staff are really pleasant and helpful. The housekeepers are really good and always made sure that the room was well stocked with toiletries and teas and coffees. Donna in Ombre Cafe was amazing and welcoming. The only negative is the evening entertainment is very poor, and that really needs to be improved."

Verder was alles weer top!"

"The hotel is located on the main street in Melleiah and is convenient for shops, restaurants, bars, the Parish Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary and the WW2 shelter. The beach is a long downhill walk away or 3 to 4 bus stops away. Overall the hotel is an excellent base to stay at with a choice of restaurants all of which served delicious food. Bus stops are within a minute walk from the reception. The only thing we weren’t happy with was the room location. When booking it wasn’t...

"A really nice hotel with everything you would want on site. Spa was lovely. Only negative was construction taking place next door otherwise a top hotel."

"The room was really clean and great and helpful staff all round. The infinity pool was really nice on the top floor but the pool on floor -2 was a little claustrophobic and dark. The breakfast was plentiful in the mornings and choice was very good. Location is excellent and all said, the hotel was ideal"

"All - Really all !! Of the staff has understood why they are there and what their individual contribution to customer satisfaction is. A true gem."
