"5-night stay Good: The staff were really helpful and nice; the spa and gym were well-equipped; and the bedding was perfect. The metro is very close, and getting around in a taxi or ride share was easy and very affordable. The Epic bar lobby serves amazing cocktails, well-executed, and nice live music every night. Minus: I did not receive my VIP voucher at check-in. The buffet breakfast is quite repetitive; it's well spread, but in fact, not that extensive. The "fresh orange" is not that fresh; it's more likely 100% orange juice in a bottle, like Tropicana. (The orange juice from the coffee shop next door is way better.) After three mornings in a row of asking for poached eggs, and every time they were not good (too cooked, not cooked enough, watery), it is clear that the method of poaching is not something the kitchen knows how to do. The same goes for the iced latte. For a hotel that emphasizes sustainability ( by not changing towels), the lack of water fountains is disturbing, given the reliance on plastic water bottles ( or even glass) And as the heat wave reached 42°C, it was time for the hotel to provide water fountains on several floors (like a gym or an airport), as many guests came with their own water bottles. The rooftop pool is quite small for the number of people, but it is manageable. I will definitely come back, but I will pass on the breakfast buffet as better, tastefully (for the same or less) available nearby in very cute/aesthetic spots."

"We stayed at the Hotel Mundial for 4 days while in Lisbon. The staff and check in were great. The bed was the best I've ever had in a hotel. We had a sweet treat waiting for us when we got in our room and a nice charcuterie plate and bottle of wine the day before we left. The hotel is beautiful and so clean. We would definitely stay every time we come back to Lisbon. "

The train station was close by, and it was convenient to get to all the spots you’d want to check out in Lisbon. "Absolutely lovely hotel with wonderful friendly staff all round. I did find the cleaning of the rooms slacking as the floors were barely sweeped. Rooms are small and the bathroom is tiny. Lack of vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast AND not labelled Veg, Vegan etc etc. The national pastry of Portugal the Nata was barely at the breakfast table we had to keep asking for it. Fried eggs we had to ask for, this should all be available. Breakfast plates far too small and the juice glasses are tiny. Come on HF Fenix Lisboa management sort it out. Finally, a special mention to NELSON, what an amazing man who clearly loves his job and the guests he serves. I have never seen such an amazing and beautiful person who cares so much for people who is very genuine as a person. Nelson deseves a huge payrise. He even addressed us with Namaste, which means hello and greetings in Gujarati. Amazing individual 👏 "
