"The room next door had a bath tub spa which was up against my rooms bed headboard When the spa tub was turned the noise and vibration was like a jet liner sitting on top of my room. This crazy load noise and vibration went on for and hour, before the folks next door turned it off. Then I was able to get to sleep. Terrible noise problem with spa tub."

"Upon arrival, we noticed the front door looked like it was broken into at some point. The carpet was coming off the floor. The bathroom has cracked tiles and poor paint cover up jobs. The shower drain did not work. The bed had spiders and blood stains. There were holes in the walls. The towels were crusty, like it hasn’t been washed. "I have stayed here before, the location is perfect, but this time everything was a mess. we got there July 3rd got into our room spent the day walking around. came back the place was overrun by underage teenagers. drinking yelling load music, they were on the 2nd floor, first incident was when they were knocking trash and speakers onto our car. calm conversation, thought everything was fine. we went out for the night came back to the room at midnight went to bed. "Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at on a vacation. Bed wasn’t comfortable, water pressure in shower was nonexistent, room was hot with no ac, when windows were open the road noise was too loud. Tyrannical owners more worried about patrons smoking in the parking lot rather than cleaning the rooms on a regular basis. Didn’t have room cleaned the entire week. I won’t be back."

"We had a fantastic stay at Black Bear Lodge. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning wooden interior that gives it a real mountain lodge feel. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was ideal too, tucked away in a quiet setting but only a short drive from local shops, restaurants and other amenities. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."
