I am extremely disappointed with the way my booking was handled.
My accommodation booking was cancelled just days before an important business trip with no clear explanation. If I hadn't proactively followed up myself, I may not have even known the booking had been cancelled until it was too late.
To make matters worse, Expedia advised me that the booking was still active on their end, creating unnecessary confusion and stress. I was then forced to find alternative accommodation at the last minute, which cost significantly more due to the short notice.
I also used approximately $90 in Expedia voucher credit towards this booking, and I am still waiting for this to be restored.
The customer service was equally disappointing. I was promised multiple callbacks that never happened, requested escalation to management, and was assured someone would contact me. It has now been over two weeks since I sent a detailed email outlining my concerns, and I have received absolutely no response.
To add to my frustration, I have still not received my refund despite being told it would be processed.
The complete lack of communication, failure to follow through on promises, and poor handling of this situation have resulted in a very stressful and costly experience. I expected far better customer service and accountability. Based on my experience, I would not recommend booking with this property.
