Room “looked clean”, but once you’ve walked in you’re hit with a wet carpet smell that doesn’t go away. Bed and sheets didn’t have a bad smell. Shower had visible brown water stains almost like the water was not good to use. Did not use shower. Slept a couple hrs and left.

I thoroughly enjoyed my two-nights stay at Charlotte Hotel. The property is charming and in excellent condition. The breakfast I ate in the on-site restaurant was delicious.
