"The property was lovely and very clean! My only issue was the AC was not working at all! Even after I had turned it off, it continued to blow hot air into the room making it unbearable without an open window. Me and my partner resulted to keeping the second story sliding glass door to our balcony open which solved our temperature problem. We also noticed that at some point the deadbolt had been taken off our door so we only had a standard door lock. This was not an huge concern as the property...

"Older hotel that has been upgraded. A lot of work has been done to keep the place clean and well maintained. That said, it is dated. This is the second time we have stayed here and because of it's location and price, will likely use it again."

"The room is everything that you expect from the description. There were no discrepancies. The excellent part is the location. There’s lots to do and see in the local area. It’s a nice place to stay for a coastal getaway."

"The room was very nice & clean. The view of the ocean from our room was amazing. Access to the beach was fairly easy & it wasn’t crowded at all. This hotel is close to everything in town. The only thing we didn’t like was the round bed, because we kept hitting our feet on the posts. My disabled wife also had a hard time getting in & out of the bed. The bed was firm but comfy. The pillows were not comfy at all. We have stayed there twice & would stay again (with our own pillows)."

"We really enjoyed our stay, it was cozy and charming and close to everything Mendocino. The room was clean but some aspects felt outdated like peeling paint and stains on the carpets. We would definitely stay again!"

"The room was sufficient for our use. But there was a few things that we noticed. The bathroom vent fan didn't work. The shower floor had problems that could become a safety issue. Also we paid $210 for a room for 2 days and nights from July 8 to the 10th but we were a little upset that the check in time was 4pm. Check out time was right. 11am is good. "This hotel wasn’t horrible, but for the price it was really not good. It’s an older hotel, which would be great if it had been maintained a bit better the laminate flooring was curling at the edges, the bathroom mirror had black spots around the edges (which happens to old mirrors) the bathroom tile either hadn’t been cleaned or had something permanently stuck to it…I was not going to investigate that.
