Although I could have parked in the private service road outside the hotel, I paid 15 euros for the covered, locked car park as we had a lot of ski gear on show in the car. The standard room was quiet, comfy bed, bathroom had a good strong shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast on the 9th floor was busy at 8am on Easter Sunday but well stocked. And ithe hotel is only a ten minute walk through the gardens and over the bridge into the town centre (you can get a tram if you wish)."

"Excellent over night stay on our journey back to Calais. Clean and newly renovated. Pool table and table football as well as playroom for children. Bar open till 11pm. Restaurant a little too up market for our children but nice for adults. Highly recommend. We’ll stay again! "

The coffee provided in the room was delicious and nice to have with some local pastries. Having on site secure underground parking was convenient. The only negative was the location is close to some construction but they didn’t work through the night, so it didn’t interrupt sleeping. "

"The thing I really didn’t like was the separate space for thr toilet, the room was really small and you had to move from one side where the toilet is to the other side where the sink room was . Really not nice, but that’s what some hotels do to squeeze as much money as they can.."
