"The hotel was in a quiet location and walking distance to bustops for tours and airport. Number 13 bus stop is only half a block away. It had a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge, stove top and microwave. Communication was good for access to hotel. Plenty of parking at front of hotel. 5 min walk to restaurants and small supermarket. There was a sulphar smell from the hot water but that is supposedly all of Iceland. Room a little small. Cleaners need to check that dishes have been cleaned...

"Rooms and bathrooms were very clean, staff were very nice and easy to check in and out. Would have liked a water fountain but that’s the only thing I could find that wasn’t positive about the place. I do recommend having a car if you are here as it’s 10 min away from center drive and far walk "

"We had a trouble getting the pin pad work, but when we called the contact number at the door they solved the problem right away. Room is very clean and also the bathroom as well, it was very nice. Only thing was there’s no closed door in the shower, so water kept running out and it was little hard to keep it dry the area."

"Very easy to do the self check-in. I just wish there was an elevator but it wasn't too bad bringing my bag up the stairs. Very nice room. "

"I did not get my check in instructions ahead of time and was locked out on the first night. I had to pay 244 euros for a hotel. Neither summer day nor Expedia would refund me. Fraud as they blamed each other. The internet did not work in my room and the person who responded could only say “good luck”. Horrible place to stay. Would not recommend either summer day or Expedia. "
