Hotel was clean and quiet. Comfy bed and good breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful

Our 'go to' place when in the area. Nice friendly staff, rooms are spacious, clean & have comfortable beds. Microwave/fridge & coffe machine & hot water for shower. Air con/heating worked fine. Parking right outside & it's always been quiet. A lovely welcoming little town with it's friendly shops. Being at this time year the Christmas lights were great. Lots of places to visit locally. Would recommend.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Kit and all the amazing staff at Callaway resort and spa for making our stay so special. We were lucky enough to stay in the lodge Hotel and a cottage during our visit to the USA. The cottages are beautiful and set in the pine forest and their swimming pools are amazing. Okay but location not great. No excuse for gym being not available. Overall not bad

This was in fact a short stay but we will be returning next year for a longer stay thanks to this event. The location has immense beauty, while it is not an actual log cabin it is definitely made to look this way, does need some external repairs to the main building and the location of the Hughes internet dishes could be more hidden speaking from experience. What a lovely house and Judy was a lovely host. The house is beautiful and furnished in the Victorian era fitting with the age of the house. The room was enormous and very comfortable. Breakfast was home cooked and very tasty. Shame we only stayed one night, wished it had been longer.
