The Hôtel Spa Face à la Mer is a quaint boutique hotel on the beach/British Channel in a small town near the Normandy sites, within 45 minutes to 1.5 hours to most of the sites you would want to see in this area. The staff, rooms and breakfast were all fantastic. A very quiet peaceful town. A handful of restaurants within a few minutes walk. Highly recommend staying here.

I think due to the remoteness of the property, you should not have to pay for parking. Parking should be included in the reservation. The breakfast was fantastic, although a bit expensive. There staff are amazing and friendly.

We arrived late and they were very communicative about how to get access to the room. Very helpful, great room with a beautiful view. Wonderful breakfast in the morning. Would have loved to have spent more time there!

It was a lovely little hotel near the beach. We stayed off season, so it was quiet. I reserved late, so didn’t get a view of the water. I would recommend you try. Staff was helpful. Breakfast buffet provided good options and was tasty. It’s a quaint quiet town, but you can walk the beach to other towns. There are local restaurants and shops that are fun to visit.

Lovely stay

Lovely, clean hotel on the beach. Our room had the beach view with balcony and it was well equipped. I particularly loved the coffee machine in our room! We booked the spa one evening and really enjoyed it. The staff were super friendly and accomodating. Parking was so easy across the street. We would stay here again.

Lovely hotel by the beach

The hotel is very nice. The room with the balcony with ocean view is lovely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Right across from the beach. We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good, nice pastries. The only thing that we really missed was the air conditioning.

Charming by the Sea

You won’t regret booking this delightful boutique hotel. It’s clean and cute with upscale fixtures and services. While I would not consider this a “Spa”, they did have hot tubs available for private use. And you might need one if you actually swam in the ocean. The setting is lovely. The facility is sparking clean, recently remodeled, and the staff was kind and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the charming town of Melville~Franceville. If Iget to return, I’m booking the ocean view with a patio!
