It's grown quite a bit, too. While not a destination it is a great place to stay for a day and then go to Vegas or S Utah depending on the direction you are going.

Mesquite is like a tiny little Vegas but without all the trash and homelessness everywhere. The locals are always very nice and friendly

There are some beautiful areas and quite a lot to do which is really impressive. Thinking about moving there when we retire.

Nicely cared for streets and lots of parking along parks. A good place to play Pokémon Go on our cellphones!

Town shuts down at 10 pm. Had limited choices to eat so ate at one of the casino cafes.

Mesquite is a ok place to visit as with any city it has its good places and it's bad. It is what it is. It does have some good restaurants and good hotels and the people are generally very friendly so it's really not so bad.
