"Wonderful location close to windmill, castle and 3 domes. love this cave - wind house, really nice room w large space and nice beds, pleasantly surprised it is so well maintained; you can watch the sunset, although the best location would be from the castle So you can take picture of the windmill during sunset. Btw, you really need the staff help with the luggage because of so many stairs to get to the Caves, Same with others I think. "

"We had a little issue with the room shortly after we arrived and let the staff know. They didn't have anyone there to fix it, but quickly offered us a larger room and a hot tub. Very friendly and helpful. Quiet location with an excellent view facing the ocean. Would recommend the Phaos!"

"Very friendly and helpful reception. Excellent position in Fira town with stunning views over the caldera. Despite being given an upgrade, the room was VERY tiny, felt and smelled clammy. The only ventilation was a small window or the open door. No shower curtain = wet bathroom floor. None of the normal TV stations were working. Pool was empty and off limits."

"This lovely hotel is in a convenient location approx 10 mins walk away from Oia town centre. There is also a small mini market 5 mins walk away. Lots of steep steps around this hotel in order to go into town centre. We used the porter service the hotel kindly provided to help carry our suitcases during check in & check out. This service is really useful otherwise it would have been difficult to find this hotel on our own. Breakfast is lovely, good variety of options for vegetarians as well....

"The caldera view was stunning and the area was conveniently located. Outside of missing some of the basic features (microwaves, extra towels, etc) the experience was good. The young male assistant at the front desk was wonderful, and the morning breakfast was a delight each day. The property also offered a rental car option which we took advantage of and appreciated! "

"This venue is close to the bus stop / a main road for cars/ATV rental. Clean & receptionist was so helpful and provided us with tips of the island. We did lounge by the pool for a couple hours each day because the pool isnt heated so it was too cold to swim in. Room size was large and clean. Only complaint is that the shower curtain doesnt keep the water from pooling into the rest of the bathroom floor and you end up with a large wet puddle around the toilet after showering. Would book here...

"Father and son were very helpful. The free breakfast prepared for you and served in your room at the time we arranged was better than any hotel or fancy eatery we had ever been in. More impressive, was that the next day you were served different items. The robe and slippers and hot tub made this a hard place to check-out of!!!!"
