Hotel Villa Belvedere

"Wonderful old grand hotel in an excellent location. Received a warm welcome and professional service from all the staff members. The pool area is a haven from the modern world with ample sun loungers and umbrella shade. Our room (65) backed directly onto the road at pavement level, however the layout of the room meant that there was very little noise in the main bedroom and sleep was completely unaffected. Furnishings were generally in very good order with just a few signs of wear and tear. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend"

"Excellent location (particularly if you are driving). Short walk into the old town and in a quiet location with a wonderful view. One of the better breakfast buffets of the trip. Staff were wonderful and the room was spacious. If I had any criticism, it would be that a sensitive sleeper may find the air conditioning a bit loud but I wouldn't think it's a problem for most. I would absolutely stay there again."

Eurostars Monte Tauro

"Eurostars was way more than I expected. The hotel is on a cliffside with amazing views and a unique layout. I can honestly say it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We got an upgrade to the honeymoon suite, and the room was clean, spacious with a lounge area, desk, split bathroom, huge bed, and private patio, walk in closet. The breakfast was the best I had at any of my stays in Italy, and the pool was amazing, ice cold, and deep. We paid 25 euros for a taxi from the train station, and it’s a 5-minute walk to the center of Taormina with all the shopping and restaurants. Don’t waste your time looking for something to eat; just go to Relè Taormina. They have the best food with the best pricing and the best view overlooking the water. It’s also just outside of Eurostars. The air conditioner kept the room ice cold, and the staff were friendly and helpful."
