"Great building and interesting location. Room comfortable (only one spare pillow though). But I had trouble with the bath as the soap and shampoo dispensers are not directly over the bath. As I am slightly disabled I found it difficult to turn round to reach the bath gel. And there were no hand rails on the bath.
We also thought the cost of breakfast was excessive at €25,00 per person! It was no different to a standard buffet breakfast - so it was disappointing.
However dinner in the restaurant...

"Nette, schone kamer.
Voorzien van alle nodige faciliteiten.
Nette schone badkamer en aparte toilet. Het toilet was wel een beetje smal.
Het hotel ligt centraal en geeft je snel toegang tot de binnenstad.
Erg fijn en mooi zwembad. Was erg fijn tijdens deze warme zomer.
Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Kleine tip: Misschien goed om eens wat aandacht te schenken aan de binnenplaats bij het vervallen winkelcentrum. Als je daar het hotel uitloopt, doet dat geen recht aan het hotel."

"Zuerst das Positive: Die Lage direkt am Bahnhof ist perfekt in Metz. Gegenüber gibt es einen sehr großen Parkplatz für 10 Euro pro 24 Stunden (Hoteltarif). Das Frühstück ist übersichtlich, aber es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas zu finden. Das Personal ist durchweg sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Und nun zu den Punkten, durch die es leider nur zu einer mittelmäßigen Bewertung gelangt hat: Wir hatten leider einen "holprigen" Start. Beim Einchecken wurde von uns der gesamte Zimmerpreis für unsere...

"Stayed at Hotel Alerion on several occasions. It seems like there are new owners. I was a little disappointed with the maintenance. The light in the bathroom was so dim that you could not see. After several requests, it was replaced and worked great. The elevator was out of order and from what I heard , it has been like that since November 2025. The room was nice . The staff was very good and helped carry the luggage.
They also helped us with directions.
Overall, it was a nice stay."

"We waren aangenaam verrast. Het hotel is netjes en wel wat ouder de kamer maar voor de prijs is dit zeker in verhouding. Metz is een leuke stad en het is maar 10 min lopen. We komen zeker nog een keer terug"

"Der Unterkunft war simpel aber sauber, liegt direkt am Bahnhof und sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Frühstück nicht so viel Auswahl aber ausreichend.
Parkplätze gibt es auch sehr nah an einen Parkhaus für 9.30 Euro für 24 Stunden.
Für eine kurze Trip würde wieder hin gehen"

"Water didn’t work one morning for 1/2 hr. Staff didn’t know why. We wanted to leave early but couldn’t as no one was able to use the bathroom . We had 2 rooms and neither had water. The night before, water was dribbling out of the shower. We thought maybe multiple people showering in the other units. We stayed 3 nights and the first 2 nights were fine. Bed was very comfort. AC worked well."
