"We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms. They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay. Very clean place. Bed was super comfy had a fantastic nights sleep. We will definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you Andrew and all the team for looking after us. 😊😊"

"The hotel was dated and run down. The room had marks all over wall and had a strong odour of damp. There were limited staff and the older lady at breakfast was really rude and huffed and puffed. The cups were disgusting all stained. Breakfast items kept running out."

"The location is remote, peaceful and lovely. It's an old building and full of character with huge, comfortable rooms. All the staff were helpful. Breakfasts were a little limited, but adequate. We didn't enjoy the one dinner we had, but it was good value. Overall I'd recommend this hotel for its excellent value accommodation and location."
