"The check in was very friendly. The room was extremely clean. Parking was good and not an issue. Ate at the RSL next door - food was ok however you cannot buy a glass of wine - unbelievable - only bottles available."

"We booked the hotel to break our journey to Sydney. The room was clean and comfortable with provisions for a continental breakfast. Reception was not manned on our arrival but it was easy to pick the key up from the adjoining hotel. We left a couple of small items behind and the owner was happy to forward them to us for just the cost of postage. Would love to stay here again, but next time for 2or 3 nights. "

"This place is highly recommended for travellers with kids. The room is nicely arranged and spacious for hotel type of accommodation. Restaurant/bars and activities are within walking distance. Staff are friendly and helpful. I really like the vibe here. The only negative experience of our stay was I preordered some chocolate coated strawberries, a cheese platter with a bottle of Moscato. "Rooms looked tired and in need of some attention. Walls had paint missing, bathroom fixtures were rusty. Toilet didn't flush properly so water was running all night."

"Harrigans Hotel was fantastic! Great room, great location and easy to work your day around. The pub meals were well done. Unfortunately, reception at Mercure to collect key and when speaking on the phone to Amarn, my experience was not good. Abrupt, short and could not explain why the situation occured."

"The owners were great even let us late check out without extra charge due to circumstances. They were friendly and the cleaning staff were amazing with our little ones also. only thing I could say is the parking spaces are tight so if the place is full and u have a bigger car get in early or u will struggle a bit but luckily it wasn’t completly full so still 3-4 spaces left."
