"Very clean room.Lovely pool. The hotel is out of the way near the river. We loved the tranquil setting. Apart from our safari trip (which was arranged by the owner) we didn’t leave the hotel, which suited us because the food provided at the hotel is delicious. The only negative thing I would say is they could do with upgrading the recliners by the pool. "

"La Pentera is a unique property and it is conveniently located around 30 minutes drive to the entrance of the Udawalawe National Park. Our host is very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond our expectations and making sure we have the best time in the property. "We had a fantastic stay here. The house & setting are just beautiful, so peaceful & the hosts are so welcoming & friendly. The bed was so comfortable! We had an evening meal here which was home cooked & delicious. We had an early start the following day for a Jeep safari we’d booked through the hosts & we were sent off with a huge packed breakfast. The safari was fabulous too, the guide was so knowledgeable about Udawele Park. Wish we could have stayed longer!"
