Elevators were clean, hallways were clean and fresh smelling, nice rooms, love the heat and air control options (digital and in the wall not the unit). Excellent breakfast options, liked that you could use the lobby for eating, outdoor fireplace and patio for eating and relaxing, very nice pool and even more importantly the hot tub was functional and actually hot."

"This is my go to when in Duluth. They take dogs which is the reason I stay. The place could use a good carpet cleaning. My room smelled and the hallway was stuffy and also smelly. Otherwise everything else is perfect. A good summer carpet cleaning wouldn’t hurt."

"They did have forks and spoons in the lobby though. The pool was nice and the hot tub was functional. There were poop stains on the sheets. The TV was miswired so I had to fix it. The doors wouldn't open on the first scan. I had to try 3-4 times because the doors were warped. When I was checking in, the guy in front of me had to get a new room because the bed in the room that he just checked in to was broken. The handle for the shower has to be pulled out of the way to start water flow but...

"Pros: Friendly staff, clean room, comfy beds, nice deck, fluffy towels. Cons: Only one elevator - on the end of the hotel instead of in the middle. Breakfast was crowded as they have a small galley kitchen with barely enough room to make a waffle. They were also out of some basic food items the entire three times we went there. In order to watch YouTube or Prime you need to connect to the hotel's internet. But it disconnected more than 20 times over two days. This was extremely frustrating....

"The room decor does not make sense! More thought should have been put into planning it. There was a sofa that faced a closet style cabinet and a desk (with 2/4 dead outlets!) One quarter of a VERY large screen tv was visible directly ahead in this area, because it was hung mostly in front of the bedroom area, but off to one side, rather than centered to the room. There was a microwave / refrigerator furniture piece. The door on the refrigerator was not reversed to match the hinging on the...

"Cute little place on Lake Superior! The place was very clean and the staff was very kind & helpful. The hotel has a popcorn bar with fixings from 4-7pm in the lobby and smores in the evening out on the patio area, both were a great “free” perk! Only things that weren’t great was that the hot tub is pretty small (capacity of 5 people) and the balconies don’t have a lot of privacy. Otherwise a very nice stay!"
