The owner is giving a personnalized service, he is there for the customer, we feel it is natural and not forced or overacted. The hotel is really close from the volcano but unfortunately really far from the cities

This property was a great find for exploring Mount Etna. The room was basic but clean and soon soon felt like home after emptying your suitcase! Travelling with two teenage boys, we had a quadruple room and a view of Mount Etna from our balcony. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had dinner on the roof top terrace and the food was excellent! We stayed for three nights and also ate at another excellent pizzeria 5 minutes walk away. Parking is limited but we always found a space opposite the hotel. This hotel is a great base for exploring Mount Etna.

They allowed me to check myself in & it was gone midnight! They knew i was travelling alone & didn't speak Italian. The 'shuttle service' from airport mentioned is not included as suggested! 120 euro each way from Catania (nearest airport) maybe good price, but shuttle service would again indicate a cheaper price and part of hotel staff (it's not) When i mentioned the self check in the next morning upset, the owners response was "and that's my problem" as I responded yes, it's your hotel and that's not safe for anyone involved, he fobbed me over to his wife (who wasn't much better) I showed where they mentioned shuttle service to almost a shrug of shoulders. That early experience set the tone for the rest of time there. I brought up where they even misled about kettle in the room, again nothing and no correction or explanation. I then mentioned where they advertise they are close to restaurants (you definitely aren't) unless you drive, which is NOT stated!!! asked for help for a taxi to nearest town, apparently not available when under a mile, so no taxi or offer of a lift to help, was offered. The breakfast when I booked said included, it was not! 12 euro a day for what was only really croissants! (dinner was NEVER on though advertised) . Both their attitudes towards me was unbearable, so much so, I checked out 4 days early & went to another hotel spending unessesary money, because they had denied to help me in any way (though the whole time talking through a translator app)

A éviter !! J’ai réservé cet hôtel avec réception ouverte de 7h à 23 h A mon arrivée à 16 h l’hôtel était complètement barré avec grillage. Impossible de pouvoir faire mon Check in Aucun réseau cellulaire Malgré toutes mes tentatives je n’ai pas réussi à avoir accès à une chambre J’ai dû me trouver une chambre dans le village voisin Le lendemain quand j’ai eu du réseau j’ai communiquer avec l’hôtel et bien qu’ils ont reconnu que ls réception était fermée ils ont refusé de me rembourser la chambre que je n’ai pas pu utiliser A mon retour de voyage j’ai communiqué avec Expedia et même eux ont obtenu un refus de remboursement de la part de l’hôtel même si je n’ai pas pu utiliser la chambre Du vol tout simplement!

Stille og rolig. god kvalitet på hotellet. Rafaello er meget gjestfri og imøtekommende. Milo er et hyggelig rustikk lite tettsted. Her kommer du tett på lokalbefolkningen. Ingen plagsomme turister som overfyller gatene. De kan lite engelse, så hyppig bruk av Google Translate er et must. Experia burdre informere om at avstander er oppgitt i luftlinje, og at området Milo (som består av hyggelige, jordnære italienere) mangler god kollektivtransport og taxi tjenester. Selv Uber er nesten steds fraværende. Her må man ha egen bil, både til og fra hotellet, men for å komme seg til strandene og for å komme seg på butikker

Excellent emplacement au pied de l'Etna. Notre chambre etait spacieuse et tres propre. L'accueil a ete chaleureux et nous avons apprécié de pouvoir manger sur place. Le repas etait excellent.

Fantastic stay in a lovely spacious room, with stunning views of Mount Etna. Our host was very friendly & welcoming. On her recommendation we ate at a amazing restaurant 5 minutes walk away. We would definitely stay again.

Avrei scritto questa recensione ieri, ma Expedia non lo permetteva perché in realtà saremmo dovuti essere in hotel. Il soggiorno è durato SOLO 10 minuti. Appena arrivati (ore 15.00) abbiamo trovato l'hotel CHIUSO ed abbiamo dovuto telefonare per capire il perché. La risposta è stata:" La ragazza si è dovuta allontanare, ma torna tra 10 minuti. Cmq il check-in è alle 16"...ASSURDO!!!!. Trascorso il tempo di attesa con relative scuse, ci viene consegnata la chiave della camera. Abbiamo trovato il bagno non ripulito, cestino dei rifiuti non svuotato, linea cortesia striminzita (solo 2 saponette), tavola wc con macchie che sono andate via con una passata di alcool (che porto sempre con me), stendo una TENDINA pietosa sulla doccia. Vista la condizione scadente, abbiamo deciso di andar via. Spiegata la situazione e chiesto il conto, abbiamo pagato la quota PER INTERO. Per scusarsi ci è stato consegnato un biglietto firmato valido come buono sconto la cui percentuale ignota è a discrezione della direzione per un prossimo soggiorno (che non sarà mai). Inoltre hanno aggiunto un altro biglietto, quasi a farci un favore, valido come sconto per Parco Avventura. La frase che accompagnava la consegna del biglietto è stata:" Usate questo biglietto COME SE AVESTE alloggiato qui"....evidentemente aver pagato la cifra per intero senza usufruire non era abbastanza. Il soggiorno si è concluso con un ritorno anticipato a casa e relativo week end rovinato.... Fine della cronostoria.
