"This hotel was in good shape and quite accessible to all the things Bruges has to offer. My only complaint is that the staff cleaned the carpet in my room prior to my arrival but did not tell me and the carpet was soaked. I needed to wear shoes at all times which was a minor inconvenience. When I mentioned this to the staff, they admitted to knowing this but didn't offer any alternatives."

Frankly it is just not the same standard. Breakfast is always fabulous (the couple have been there for many years,and worked for the original owners,as above).
