The centrepiece is the chapel, with haunting figures of grieving mothers, sisters and widows at its base. A nearby fountain features the boy-like figure of an angel, rigged up to cry teardrops. You may notice that a certain part of his anatomy is shinier than the rest. This is explained by the tradition of newlyweds visiting war memorials on their wedding day, and a modern folk belief that if the bride gropes this poor young lad’s privates she’ll be guaranteed children.

The hotel building did look monastic and looked great for it. Location close to historic places and a wide range of restaurants and bars to choose from. Room very comfortable, staff very helpful. Nice easy breakfast.

Hotel Monastyrski is an absolute gem. A lot of atmosphere, the rooms are very clean, location is right smack in the center of Minsk, staff is friendly and the beds are comfortable. What more to wish for? I am definitely staying in this hotel again during my next visit to Minsk.

Tuvalette taharet musluğu yoktu. Bundan dolayı sıkıntı çektim. Otelin sabunları çok kötü. Elimi sabunla yıkadığımda sabunun yağı elime geçti. Sabun ellerde yağ bırakıyor. Bir de bu yağı geçirmek için uğraştım. Oda güzeldi. Ama minibat boştu. Orta sınıf bir hotel. Ama tarihi bir otelde kalmak için de ideal bir yer.

Хороший отель в самом центре Минска. Расположение шикарное. У отеля свой фирменный стиль. Номер большой для одного человека. На завтрак не ходил, сауной не пользовался. Кровать маленькая, чайник в номере не работал и при выезде на рецепшн сказали, что оплата через Expedia не прошла. Но как выяснилось это был вопрос исключетельно администрации, а не мой!

Sehr hellhörig, musste in der Nacht in andere Zimmer wechseln wegen laute Musik von der Strasse. Frühstüchsraum ist öde, Geruch und Aussehen des Frühstücksbuffet laden nicht zum Essen ein.

Была проездом в Минске, и пребывание совпало с праздником Преображения. Совместила приезд с посещением богослужений. Великолепная возможность доя паломников. Гостиница находится за главным собором города в красивом архитектурном ансамбле, интерьер действительно напоминает монастырь: сводчатые потолки, деревянные ставни, длинные коридоры, толстые каменные стены. В номерах прохладно, чисто, работают кондиционеры. Персонал приветливый, имеется ресторан с небольшим выбором блюд, но более чем приемлемыми ценами-приятно удивило.

Очень хорошо!

Чисто, уютно, комфортно, недорого. Доброжелательные и вежливые сотрудники. Номера просторные, в каждом - свой вайфай. И холодильник) Завтраков из-за закрытия ресторана нет, но они и не нужны - рядом есть неплохие кафе на Зыбицкой улице.

I was not offered room upgrade or discounted spa service despite my VIP access. Moreover, they ask you to stay for a few minutes after checkout to check the room. It looks like they suspect that a guest can steel something.

Das Hotel liegt zentral , im Herzen der Stadt Minsk. Sas Gebäude ist sehr gut, Originaltreu restauriert. Die Frühstück ist sehr gut und lecker.

A little bit hard to find since entrance is off the street but the location is fantastic, the staff were nice, the breakfast was good, and everything was very clean.

Stort hotell i et ombygget gammelt kloster fra 1638. Bueganger, litt mørkt og kanskje litt skummelt. Ingen smil fra ansatte i restaurant eller andre, med unntak av én person i resepsjonen. Dårlig holdning til gjestene ser ut til å være gjennomgangs melodien i dette hotellet. Om jeg skulle reist til Minsk igjen ville jeg ALDRI bodd her igjen. God beliggenhet, stille, trygt og gangavstand til byen. Veeldig rent!! Kjedelig frokost og restaurant

Good location

Hotel location and architecture are amazing! Staff is not friendly. And beds are not comfortable. Internet connection was pretty unstable, cutting signal every 10 mins. Worth for location and building.
