Die Gegend drumherum wirkt ein wenig heruntergekommen. Den Stadtstrand von Ierapetra erreicht man innerhalb von 2 Gehminuten, Tavernen und Bars an der Strandpromenade sind ebenfalls innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen.
