Our stay at the Hibiscus Lodge was just truly amazing, We were made to feel so welcome and our hosts were so friendly. I highly recommend if your looking for a place to relax in a homely setting. I will definitely rebook when we go back to Mission Beach.

We had a great stay, very friendly hosts, room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good, you have almost a guarantee to have the wallabies with you. Very nice place.

We had planned to stay in Mission Beach in the hope of seeing Cassowaries. In the end we were unlucky on that score. However, we were very pleased that we had chosen to stay with Robert and Adrienne in the wonderful house. The location is fantastic. It was a treat to watch wallabies in the garden over breakfast.

Mission Beach

Accueil très sympathique d’Adrienne et de Robert qui nous ont prodigué d’excellents conseils pour les restaurants et les trajets vers Cairns. Le petit déjeuner est très complet et en compagnie d’un wallaby habitué des lieux! Localisation très calme et à proximité des plages, restaurants et supermarché en voiture.

Worth a visit

Excellent stay clean and comfortable. They help with making reservation and even made sure I seen the Cassowary and yet another wallaby. To bad they are trying to sell but when someone buys it they will have some big shoes to fill.

Loved our stay here. Good accommodation in a lovely setting. Owners were very friendly and hospitable. Loved the wallabies and the cassawary who joined us for breakfast.

静かで、アットホームなBBです。ホストのご夫妻はニュージーランド出身の穏やかな方々。細やかな配慮と共に、適度な距離を保ってくださり、ゆったりとくつろげました。レセプションは無くて、チェックインもアウトも手続きなし、ホームスティしてる感じでした。朝食には手作りのバナナブレッドやジャムもあり、美味しいです。夕方6時のドリンクタイムにはワイン、ビール、ソフトドリンクなど飲みながらホストと色々お話できて、楽しかったです。もちろんドリンク代は宿泊費用にすべて含まれてるとのことで、現地で追加支払はありませんでした。連絡しておくとバス停まで迎えにきてくれます。

Ein kleines Paradies

Es war einfach wunderbar. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Die Umgebung war sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück war richtig lecker, mit allem was das Herz begehrt, frisches Obst, warme Croissants, Toast, Marmelade, Honig, Müsli und Joghurt.. Wir hatten während des Essens Gesellschaft von Wallabies. Diese sind wild und leben im angrenzenden Wald. Nach dem Frühstück haben sich Robert und Adrienne noch zu uns gesetzt und wir haben uns sehr nett unterhalten. Sie haben uns auch Tipps für unsere weitere Tour gegeben, das Frosty Mango war wirklich super und das Eis sehr lecker. Vielen Dank für diesen Tipp! Alles in Allem war der Aufenthalt traumhaft, wirklich ein kleines Paradies. Wir werden bestimmt beim nächsten Australienurlaub wieder vorbei kommen! Vielen Dank für alles!

Helpful and comfortable.

The hosts were very obliging. The breakfast was a great start to the day - especially the muffins. The wildlife was fantastic and the cassowary encounter priceless. Recommend and would stay again.

Mission Beach delight

Welcoming friendly hosts. Property in park like grounds with some wallabies arriving for breakfast each morning. Substantial continental breakfast included which was highlighted by the delicious homemade muffins. Located centrally in the Mission Bay Area and close to major retail services. However vehicle transport is a must to explore the area.

Peaceful place.

Great place- comfortable, quiet and lovely breakfast. Easy walking distance to beach and some amenities at Wongaling. Robert and Adrienne were extremely helpful and welcoming, and the wallabies were a delight to watch.

Robert and Adrienne made us very welcome and we felt immediately comfortable. Very clean and well appointed. The complimentary drink with the hosts was enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent with homemade jams and the icing on the cake were the wallabies who all but joined us at the table! It was good to see the obvious pleasure our hosts gained from nurturing these animals without taming them.

Hibiscus Lodge Retreat

This was a lovely place to stay. We were met by a group of Agile wallabies in the grounds to this B&B and they also appeared each morning at breakfast. A young cassowary also made an appearance one afternoon. Robert and Adrienne were thoughtful and helpful hosts and the 6.00 pm happy hours each evening was a great way to get to know each other and discuss the day and share experiences.

お二人でやっていらっしゃる日本でいうペンションみたいな感じでした。朝は朝食をいただきながらワラビーが見れます。アットホームな雰囲気でとてもくつろげました。オーナーご夫婦もとても親切でした。お部屋はかわいかった。

Nice B&B surrounded by a wonderful tropical garden

Adrienne und Robert were abosult fantastic Hosts. They care allot about their guests. We had a beautiful room. The breakfast is very good. The house is surronded by a tropical garden, were wallabies live in.
