"We stayed in this hotel for one night on a quick trip to Memphis. I had looked into several other hotels in the area that were similarly priced, but they all had drawbacks such as mandatory valet parking, no free breakfast, loud street noise, etc. When I saw this one, I thought it was too good to be true, but I took a chance and booked it anyway. Turns out it was excellent.
I stayed here with my husband and two teenagers. The location is within walking distance of Beale Street, the room was super clean and had 2 queen beds instead of doubles, and the location was super quiet. The parking is included in the price and you can park your own car, which is a miracle if you look at the other hotels near Beale. We never had a problem finding a close parking spot either. As for the breakfast, there was a lot of variety (eggs, sausage, waffle maker, cereal, bagels, muffins, toast, nutella, coffee, hot water for tea, etc.).
Just a note for the hotel, the fragrant smell in the lobby is overwhelming to people with perfume allergies. If our room had smelled like that, we would have had to leave. Thankfully, the smell was just in the lobby.
We would highly recommend this hotel as a clean, comfortable experience in the heart of downtown Memphis!"
