"Wonderful property. Historic building with ultra modern amenities. You must negotiate at least 3 steps, so keep that in mind if mobility is an issue for you. The inn is perfectly situated for walking downtown Plainfield. Shops, restaurants, and the best ice cream locally is right around the corner. Alles ist in der Nähe. (Everything is close by.)"

"This was a overall one star experience. My room was fully paid for through Expedia and when I arrived to check in my room had been given away. The girl was nonchalant and said i did not pay for it even when i showed her my reciept from Expedia. I had to pay again for the stay. It was late and we travelled all day so we needed to stay so i paid again..They put me in a smaller room and it was disgusting. The smell of the carpets in the halls was strong and nausiating...I did not even want to walk...

"The absolute worst location I have stayed at in my whole life. Cigarette burns on the bed (8 different ones) and on the back of the toilet. When asking management about it they told me, “ oh well, take it up with Expedia…you booked with them!” I immediately left and booked with another hotel!"

"Do not stay at Days Inn, Romeoville. My wife and are not complainers. We have gone out of our way, multiple times elsewhere, to compliment staff to their boss and / or ownership about pleasant experiences. This is the first time, unfortunately, our horrendous experience needs to be expressed. Consider the following: 1). First impression: The carpeting on the rolling cart to unload our luggage was very unclean. It seemed like it needed a long awaited-cleaning. 2). No automatic doors to enter from...

"We booked at last moment for a safe,clean to sleep. Very quiet and appreciated the coffee bar in the lobby. Breakfast was good with variety."

"Check in was alright, the property was what you’d expect from a cheap motel, burn holes on every surface, nothing much offered in the way of amenities except two bars of soap and a few towels. Water pressure was nice! Off putting signs, the security lock on my door was broken, everything felt sticky, and second morning I found a cockroach. I left early. Just couldn’t bring myself to stay there another night."
