"Location: it's a few steps from the ferry/boat ports, so you don't have to lug your bags through the island. All the sensational things to see on Miyajima are in walking distance. Food: I only had breakfast, but people seemed to like the cocktail bar too. Breakfast wasn't complex: half continental, half Japanese, all fresh and good. I appreciated the salads every morning. Extras: the cheapest coin laundry I ever seen in Japan. Free drinks (including 10+ types of coffee/tea, soft drinks) and...

"Great service from the staff and room (432) was the nicest i have stayed in over 21 years visiting Japan. This is a traditional style Japanese Hotel so no shoes but well worth the stay. Highly recommended and a must over ight stay if visiting Miyajima !"

"What a wonderful and authentic Japanese experience. The hosts made us both feel extremely welcome and accommodated despite the language barrier. The Japanese style keiseki breakfast and dinner were outstanding both in taste and general experience. Thoroughly recommend for those who want a true Ryokan experience. The private onsen was also outstanding to say the least."

"Best view on the island over Miyashima. Rooms are super clean and comfortable. It is an older hotel, but well worth the money. I recommend staying two nights so you can enjoy the island and not be rushed to do everything in a single day."
