"Great place to stay. The location was fantastic and although not luxurious the room was exactly what you need after a day on the fells. "

"Loved our stay. Our first family trip away with our 10 week old baby and even she loved it. We had everything we needed at our finger tips. The only slight downfall was the Wi-Fi connection. It was quite hard to connect to and very slow. Being in an area with poor reception for data, the Wi-Fi was definitely needed but we both struggled to get any use out of it. Amazing place though, would recommend. "

"Lovely caravan which was very clean and dog friendly. Well stocked including bowls for doggy. Communication from the owners was excellent. They even sent us a list of dog friendly walks some with dog friendly pubs. Lovely dog friendly pub Mason Arms just across the road from the camp where they let doggy sit under the table whilst owners had a meal. It was a small caravan site which was quiet and well laid out just what we needed."

"The property is right on a very busy main road, the main bedroom is at the front so traffic noise is an issue. The curtains aren’t blackout curtains so street lights are an issue and one being faulty and strobing intermittently didn’t help. The exterior of the front could definitely do with some tlc as well. "Lovely situation and lots of history. Great food and service at dinner but hotel looks a bit tired and breakfast is very awkward in terms of self service especially as many guests are seniors. "

"Location is great nice walk in to Keswick about 20 mins. Food and drink very nice and a good price. Staff all friendly and helpful. Hotel needs some renovation work but for a couple of nights it's a lovely place to stay. "

"Super friendly and quick check in. Prompt room change when the room key wasn't working. Excellent spa facilities - notably the thermal pool. Good range of breakfast options (the pancakes from the kitchen order options were fab). Good quality food for evening meal in the dining room. The location speaks for itself - fantastic. "
