"Great home like feel. Casual and accommodating with THE BEST home cooked breakfast I have had at an overnight stay. The tipi was perfect with a friendly cat that visits and even a lovely bird fluttering around inside for a natures alarm clock:) Deer roaming around and a nice fore pit for use by all. "Beautiful & very well maintained! The easy use of the kitchen to make our dinner & then the relaxation of eating outside in the serene yard was just what we needed after driving all day. Care takers were very friendly & even offered us some of their home made Texas cake, which was delicious! As a final bonus, they offer breakfast coupons for a fun cafe right across the street! The Gibson is definitely worth the value & is an exceptional place to stay! "

"I cannot say enough about this BNB. From the minute you drive onto the property, it is meticulously maintained, the gardens the fountain flowers! In the room was blissfully perfect! "Be aware that this property is out in the middle of nowhere. And there is a very long bumpy road to get to it. Also the bathroom is not attached to the bedroom. You are the only ones using it downstairs but it is down the hall. Oh and there is no air conditioning. That was pretty uncomfortable on an 85 degree humid day."

"Frankly, my wife and I stayed here because it was the only room we could find available in the area. My first concern was the distance from the highway. This, however, was not an issue. The road is in great shape, you can cruise around 60 mph most of the way. Only the last half mile is unpaved and its not bad. Altogether, a wonderful drive.
