"Property was great, very close to the town, easy free parking across the road and a good breakfast. Our room was nice with a big private rerrace with sun beds and a sea view. Our stay was spoilt by some of the hotel policies. We booked the room with a terrace and sea view planning to sit out in the evening with a glass of wine and a snack. There was a big sign on each room door to say no food at all allowed in the room or a 100 euro fine. Further, there were no glasses, only tiny paper cups. Glasses are not allowed in the room either. We thought we would have to make do with a cup of tea, but the kettles were taken away from the rooms due to an electrical fault in the hotel. We had to go down to the bar for a plastic cup of hot water to make our tea - bit sad really."

Note that I had to keep my rucksack in a separate room downstairs (hotel policy) in that I had just completed the GR20- not an issue but something to know."

The onsite restaurant, "The Oranges", was lovely and reasonably priced. The site has direct access to the beach, which is dog friendly, but the closer to Calvi, dogs are banned. It's a good walk into Calvi, but very pleasant, and there's plenty going on around the marina and old town."
