"We had an excellent week at Il Querciolo. It is an ideal location for a base to explore Tuscany with Arezzo, Siena and Florence all within easy reach. If you prefer quieter smaller towns, there are plenty to choose from, such as Cortona, Monte San Savino, Gargonza, Lucignano, Castiglion Fiorentino - all close by. Cesare and family were amazing hosts and provided a warm welcome and plenty of suggestions of places to visit. They also produce some amazing wine, which you have to try when you stay....

If A/C is a deal-breaker for you, be aware that it was not very powerful (which is common in Italy, we’ve found) and we thought the room was quite warm and muggy during the summer. However, the staff was very helpful and provided us with a fan that helped a bit. Overall I highly recommend this property."
