"Small family-owned inn located in center of Civitella in Val di Chiana. Room was comfortable and included all we needed. "If we could give Castello Di Gargonza 10 stars, we would. Everything was truly exceptional, from the breathtakingly beautiful location, to the lovely, luxurious rooms, to the warm and accommodating staff, to the delicious local food and drinks. It was a peaceful escape in the middle of our whirlwind Italy trip for my son’s graduation. So centrally located in Tuscany, an hour(ish) or less from Firenze, Siena, etc. Special thanks to Deanna and Lucia for being so amazing!"

Stylish, relaxed, top tier attention to detail, amazing service that makes like you are staying with your coolest friends (that you probably don't have in real life - lol). "We had an excellent week at Il Querciolo. It is an ideal location for a base to explore Tuscany with Arezzo, Siena and Florence all within easy reach. If you prefer quieter smaller towns, there are plenty to choose from, such as Cortona, Monte San Savino, Gargonza, Lucignano, Castiglion Fiorentino - all close by. Cesare and family were amazing hosts and provided a warm welcome and plenty of suggestions of places to visit. They also produce some amazing wine, which you have to try when you stay. Also recommend the breakfast they provide with homemade breads, cakes and biscuits. The pool is great when you want a relaxing day on site and has a stunning view over the valley and provides fantastic sunsets in the late evening. We definitely hope to return for another stay."

"We felt so fortunate to find this place after our initial booking in Tuscany did not work out. We booked last minute and showed up 30 minutes later, and Angela and Alessandro were so kind and gracious to get us settled. They didn't know that they could receive last minute bookings. The property is unbelievable! The views and amenities were amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer. It was so lovely to experience such a gorgeous villa in Tuscany while also being taken care of so well by the hosts. If we ever return to Tuscany, we have no choice but to stay here! I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you, Angela and Alessandro for such a wonderful stay! "
