Khách sạn Montelaguardia

"The property is stunning and unique and is exactly as it appears in online photos. The food was delicious - especially the breakfast and the omelet which was amazing! The tasting was lovely, the rooms were clean, and we appreciated the espresso machines in the room. The only negatives (all minor) were that the outdoor hot tub was out of commission waiting on a part to arrive (I know these things happen but it was a bummer since we were very much looking forward to using it and our room only had...

"Lovely breakfast, really clean rooms and nice spa facilities!"

"This entire property was beautiful and so well maintained. My parents and I enjoyed the triple room very much. The staff was very helpful, and paid a lot of attention to details, even already setting out gluten free pastries for me after I asked if they had some the day before. The pool was very nice and we enjoyed the food at the restaurant. We didn’t have a car on this trip, so we enjoyed our time at the hotel for 3 nights. I would definitely book again, and recommend this place to anyone...

"Our stay at Shalai was outstanding from start to finish. We received a warm welcome from a genuinely friendly and professional team. The hotel is set in a beautifully restored historic mansion on a quiet street, creating a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. Check-in was effortless. Our online check-in was fully recognized, so there was no need to repeat the process. No credit card was requested and payment was deferred until checkout, which was a pleasant surprise. The reception staff kindly...

"We stayed here as a base to discover Sicily by car. It has plenty of parking, generous breakfast, nice pool. Perfect for active vacation or pool hangouts. The property has also a nice view of Etna."

"The property is beautiful. The rooms were charming. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"It was fun to have a view of Mt Etna right out our room window. The hotel facility has a pleasant inner courtyard, which was nice in a busy urban setting, and a good place for breakfast when the weather allows. Speaking of breakfast, the offerings were extensive and included some preserves made by the kitchen. The plantings were lovely. There were some interesting antique furnishings and decorations, including a massive wine press (or maybe olive press?) in the breakfast room. Some of the room...

"Our stay was excellent; the family were kind, attentive and welcoming. They helped us out a lot with anything we asked for. The accommodation was beautiful and immaculate and felt like a calm and peaceful haven after a day of touring. Excellent location however would recommend a car for ease of getting to the nearby towns. Beautiful breakfasts with some delicious home made sweet treats every morning. Mille Grazie Giovanni and Filippa 💙❤️"

"Wonderful staff especially the chef. The room was clean and bed made up between nights. Towels not replaced. The meals were excellent and reasonably priced. The chef worked very hard to make our stay wonderful. She was not only chef, but desk manager and waiter."

"Nice hotel. Room was large and comfortable bed, but a bit dated. We got there a bit late 945pm, and the kitchen was closed with no room service available. They helped us order pizza delivery for dinner The in door pool was great, as was the spa. Nice outdoor pools as well but not heated. Breakfast was good"

"Dated hotel."

"After needing to book at the Baia Taormina hotel due to a power outage from a storm at our original booking (a Beautiful Bed and Breakfast!) the Baia Taormina turned out to be a very pleasant experience after a very disappointing day. The staff was wonderful including breakfast servers, front desk, housekeeping and our good friends whom served us each night at their very beautiful bar. the 2 pools are very beautiful with a very nice poolside bar and excellent personnel to serve you. As most...

"The View to Mount Etna was the best, the garden house was well looked after so you enjoy the green areas and the calmness there. wished to spend more time there but had plans to go out for most of the day so was good overall. would definitely recommend it for couples who want to escape the city and enjoy the view."
