"Don't let the pics fool you this place is rough - I will say it was clean as emphasized by the overwhelming smell of harsh cleaning products in the room and the lobby. Pricing for this place is absurd for what you get - it was so bad I just ate the charge and went to a decent hotel. Lesson learned."

"This is a typical motor lodge-style inn with basic amenities and facilities. There was parking, although it looked tight when I got in. The bed cover was badly torn and stained and the top sheet had a hole in it, but there were no staff in the morning to tell about the issues. Otherwise, it was okay."

"The drainage of both the bathtub and wash sink seems kind of clogged up and the drain was very slow. I couldn’t even take a shower. Paying over $200 a night for staying for a room that was poorly maintained seems like a ripoff."

"The newer shower floors are safer / less slippery than bathtubs & they have a grab bar too . The fridge is larger than most other places so the ice cube buckets actually fit into the freezer . I filled the ice, used it from the freezer & it lasted a couple of days instead of the normal couple of hours until it melts . The mattress was good . . . firm and comfortable . The heating unit worked well / quickly with no odd smells ."

"Walls are like paper thin you can hear every noise from upstairs, to neighbors and outside! Mattress feel very old and sink in. "

"The inn was a throw back to when I grew up in Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Pebble Beach. The room, though older, had all the amenities my daughter and I needed and appreciated for our trip. The main reason I chose this lodging was for its location. It was perfect. From walking along the beach each morning to having an astounding coffee at the next door coffeehouse, the Lover’s Point Inn exceeded my expectations.
