Miles of sandy beaches, if that's what you're looking for. Good dining options in the streets joining La Rambla/beach. I would suggest around 3 days to see the city and enjoy the beach, especially ehe sunrise and sunset.

Montevideo is a beautiful city, but the center and the old town are dirty and ugly. The government doesn't take care of those areas at all.

The hotel itself is fine. Montevideo is a great walking city. A little grimy in the downtown core but it has character. Watch for the street people for example. But overall a good experience. Better than i expected.
