The staff was as helpful as they could be under the circumstances. The first issue we had was parking. The hotel only does valet parking which is $30 per day. You have two other options which include parking on the street and pay the meter, or a pay by day parking lot. When we got into our room I was floored by the condition of the room. The shower had rust all around the bottom, the sink faucets were on backwards, and when flushing the toilet the first time, the water that refilled it was brown. Rust water!! It finally turned clear after about 7-8 flushes. The window seal had chipped paint all in it with areas of missing paint in other spots. The sheets on the king bed were for a queen or smaller. All we knew is they didn’t fit. The hotel walls had stains on them as well. Yes this is an older hotel but the fact that Hampton hasn’t updated this property is sad. I can’t help but wonder if it’s because of the location. Whatever the reason, the photos that you see on the website is NOT what you pay for. I can honestly say that for almost 500 for two nights, this was robbery in a sense. We are reward members just fyi but reward member or not this property needs some major renovations!! Do better Hampton Inn property owner!!!
