We stayed a couple days of Memorial Weekend, chose the Kartrite because reviews seemed good and it didn’t look to be as chaotic as other waterpark resorts we’ve been to. Overall, we would come again but here are the pros/cons.
Pros:
Clean: like really clean which was lovely having a toddler, I didn’t leave worried we were going to be getting sick any second. TBD though, as of course it’s still a waterpark but everything felt newer and kept up.
Water park: Toddler/Older Kid and Adult friendly. Bars with cabana rentals up top, slides, pools, food down below. Wave pool, toddler areas and heated indoor/outdoor pool were a favorite of ours.
Convenience: A couple eateries inside the resort albeit expensive but convenient. Groceries/outside food are 8min away. ShopRite to get groceries. We also ate at a local Italian restaurant called Colosseo. It was delicious and easy.
Drive-ability: only an hour from our house which is awesome.
Cons:
Cost: While I found it to be a bit cheaper then some other water park resorts, really you’re paying for the room and a water park pass upfront which is built into the cost of a very standard room. Some other resorts factor in fun activities for kids etc that you don’t “feel” like you’re paying for. Kartrite felt expensive once you’re there as you’re nickel and dimed for every activity. Also, let’s be honest $18 for a Margarita is crazy ridiculous. And the food isn’t amazing for a $16 quesadilla.
