"This is a great choice as a budget hotel in the heart of Paris, two metro stops from the Gare du Nord. It is really close to the Sacre Coeur, although our room did not have a view. We stayed in the August heatwave and the room did get extremely hot, but the room had a fan and an air conditioner unit which was quite noisy. Reception closes at 7pm and after that you gain access by a series of door codes. There is is no hotel catering, but restaurants close by serve breakfast. The room had a coffee machine, a microwave and a small ceramic hob as well as a fridge. There is no kettle so making tea is more of a challenge.
In the downstairs lobby, which is open during reception hours, you can make a hot drink ( tea and coffee provided but I didn’t see any milk) and bottles of water in the fridge.
Altogether I found it a great place to stay, on a trip with my 12 year old grandson.
I would go back."
