"Lovely place, centrally located, considerate innkeeper (who was also a great bartender! Be sure to check out the intriguing collection of cocktails). Only flaw was that it required a bit of an expedition for us to get coffee in the morning and I just happen to be one of those people who cannot function without it. If you arent, you will have a lovely time."

"Suzanna and Brandon were wonderful hosts. The inn is comfortable and provided many amenities like game room, hot tub, and fire pit. Daily baked goods smell delicious and breakfast each morning was wonderful! Our hosts had great recommendations of things to do in the area and were lovely to chat with. We were visiting for a wedding in Waitsfield and were very happy staying local rather than in one of the other cities!"

"Bud was very hospitable and overall great! Externally, very aesthetic and inviting. The interior can definitely use some TLC, but it really also depends on your expectations. It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. "Excellent breakfast! Sitting room available for guests was comfy with coffee/tea and delicious homemade cake. All very clean. Our room was small with little area for luggage. Hot/Cold water was reversed, but without my glasses on in the bathroom I couldn't read the script cap on the faucet. We ran the water for quite a while before we figured it out. Randy very knowledgeable about the area and a wealth of information on Stowe and environs. Would definitely stay here again."
