.......clean, modern, spartan, mid-sized hotel with just enough in-room amenities......well located between Old Montreal and downtown shopping district.....nearby Complexe Desjardins has something like 100 indoor market style dining choices under one roof......parking sells out quickly and could be challenging for larger vehicles (true for most Montreal hotels).....good value....
Great stay! Great price for the location and it's well connected to bus and transit lines that'll take you where you want to go. Will definitely keep this place on my list for the next time I visit Montreal!
Fabulous location, kind staff, excellent rooms. Very clean and comfy.

We really enjoyed our room together, it was decently clean (did see hairs) and there is no body soap just hand soap, but we really enjoyed our view and we felt that it was accessible and we had a good time for our short stay!

I stayed at Hotel Chrome in Montreal during my visit for a conference. For the price, it is a good hotel. It is near plenty of restaurants and shopping areas. I didn't spend time in the hotel other than to sleep so it did its job well.
The room smelled weird. Some of the hardware has started corroding (e.g., the light fixture in the nightstand) the refrigerator was not clean.
The Hotel is well Located.
Very convenient for Airport bus transfer, which is just outside hotel.
Close to China Town.
Walkable to Basilica Notre Dame & Old Montreal.
Easy walk to Metro Station & Underground City.
Coffee in lobby in morning.

The room is very clean. The staff is very helpful. The hotel is very close to everything. The shopping mall on Sainte Catherine and Old Monteal is within walking distance. Very close to wvryt
Honestly for the price its really good! You can't expect a 5-star hotel experience at this price, but they had on-site parking for $35 a day, which, for downtown, is reasonable. The room was more or less clean; there was some weird hair on the bathroom wall, but otherwise it was clean. There was a smell of weed in my room one night, but it is what it is. The hotel does not have any utensils, so if you order food, make sure you ask for them. Overall, a good stay for the price. I would go again.

The internet barely worked, the remote didn't work asked for help no one ever came. Staff not very friendly
The room was clean, and that's all the positives that can be said really. It wasn't great, but the price was fine and it was a comfortable place to sleep.
If you need nothing more than a bed, it's great.
Parking was an extra $20/night in a dingy lot with no security and low hanging pipes etc that resulted in us damaging our trunk door. The elevators were gross with damaged buttons and everything was very outdated.
Water pressure was too high and splashed everywhere.
No ways to get hot water i.e. kettle, just a shared microwave next to the paid laundry machines.
Also the final charge had $24 that was not communicated (it should have been $40 for parking but was $64).
The hotel advertises self-parking, but it should be noted that the lot is about a 4-minute walk away, or closer to 5 minutes by car because of the lights and one-way streets. Parking is also paid: $15.50 per day or $13.50 overnight. Since it is a public lot with limited availability, be prepared to find alternative parking if it is full. Also, if you are driving a pickup with a 6.5-foot box, getting into the lot is extremely tight, though getting out is much easier.
The hotel restaurant was closed for repairs during my stay. From the outside, it appeared to be in perfectly good condition, so it may be close to reopening, but at the moment this is inconvenient. The nearest breakfast option is about a 4-minute walk in the opposite direction from the parking lot, at Allô mon Coco on Ste-Catherine Est. That is manageable if you have no mobility issues and do not mind the extra walking, but it does add up, especially if you need to to go another 8 minutes back for your vehicle.
Bring cash. The hotel’s vending machines only accept cash, and there is a private ATM on site if you want to pay high withdrawal fees.

For starters, we did not have great expectations given the price and the reviews. But this was bottom of the barrel. Upon arrival, we looked for the parking that was promise with our booking, went to front desk to ask about the parking. I was greeted with attitude and dirty looks, then the man proceeded to tell me that the parking was full and we needed to pay $20 to park 2 streets down everytime we left the lot. That was a hassle on its own. When we arrived to the room, everything seemed to be in order, until we checked the bed and saw the sheets were not even on properly, the mattress cover was sticking out of the sheets and had a stain on it. We have to put on fresh sheets ourselves. We went to look for the bar and restaurant that was listed with the amenities, and it was fully closed for renovations which is not listed anywhere online or mentioned upon arrival. If you plan on staying here and you have low expectations, lower them.
