Excellent location, right next to McGill University. Full sized fridge and full sized stove, with a table and four chairs for eating; a grocery store is only 5 minutes walk away.
Very friendly staff: bilingual receptionists were excellent, the housekeeping staff were kind and considerate, the breakfast staff were cheerful and diligent in keeping the tables clean and the breakfast buffet fully stocked.
The Hotel appears to be a converted apartment building. (I think that is why it has the name: L'Appartement Hotel....) It is an older building, but well maintained. Lots of hot water, standard fixtures for the bathroom, good in room air conditioning that you can control the temperature, very nice balcony from which you can take in the views.
We followed the receptionist's advice to park at the Lotto Quebec underground parking lot. It is directly across the street. The receptionist was amazing: gave us full driving directions from the Hotel to the Lotto Quebec parking entrance, and on a printed map !! This made it very easy to navigate and find. The Lotto Quebec parking lot is very good: very brightly lit, clean, no odours, no mildew, no drips, no dust, no paint chips, no concrete dust. A really nice parking lot. There is a security guard at the entrance as well. We left our car there for the entire trip (did not try any in-out privledges). Parking prices were the usual/normal downtown urban prices.
