"The hotel hotel was nice, the room was more than adequate and the staff were great, my only complaint was it was close to a bar/club and you could hear people shouting and laughing on the street and the faint thump of music."
"Next to the station. They kept our luggage as we were early. Room was clean but rather dated. En suite shower tray chipped.
Dinner was basic and expensive. Took a while to even give us a menu. Breakfast was even more basic-very little choice.
I don't think we'll be back."
"Unfortunately, our room has not been cleaned at all throughout our stay at the hotel which is three nights.
There is a constant never ending ticking (like drops of water or something) from the outside room 137 which never ends at night. Prevents you from falling asleep."
"Everything about this experience was so unique and warm. It made our stay in Stonehaven so memorable! Everything is so clean.
The room even came with a fan which my husband relies on at home.
The kitchen is well equipped to cook your food if needed and the option to use the clothes washer was a huge bonus.
Breakfast options were plenty and the coffee machine was exactly what I needed!"

Neither was the toaster or coffee machine at breakfast time and the foreign Barman could do with going on a course for mannerismn. Apart from that the hotel was ok"
"We had a great time at Banchory Lodge. Staff were lovely and so friendly and our little dog was spoiled. He had sausage at breakfast just especially for him. The toom was beautiful a d overlooked the river. The grounds were great too and even saw a heron on the opposite side of river. Folk were seen daily fishing. Banchory is very nice to wander about and we were very lucky with sunny days. Highly recommend staying for a fee days."
