"This was my 4th stay at City Mills, in Columbus. It is a v very unique property, historic and situated right on the Chattahoochee River. The riverwalk cuts right through the property making it so easy to get out for a morning or evening walk. The on-site restaurant is so delicious....the servers, the food and drinks are wonderful. The arrival staff are so friendly, they make sure they have answered your questions and will even escort you to the elevator. The breakfast is delicious, juices...

"Great staff and clean property"

"The pool looked like it had not Been cleaned in a while. Resort is right bedside a bridge that a lot of shady people were hanging out around. Room was clean, but half of the lights did not work and there were exposed wires."

"Our room as very clean and comfortable. The check in staff was on the austere and cool. We had no other occasion to interact with any other staff."

"The check in process was among the worst that I have experienced. I had 2 rooms and one of them the air conditioning did not work. My son, daughter-in-law, their 6-year old and their 2-year old were finally moved to another room at 10pm."

"I actually did not stay. I checked in and left. I did not feel safe at this motel. There were people loitering all around the parking lot in and out of cars. There was a sign inside my room telling me to make sure to secure the internal door security device. I could hear everything outside and could smell the cigarette smoke from people standing outside of their room. I did not feel safe staying and sleeping, nor parking my rental car in the lot for any period of time. The room itself...

"Hotel has not been kept up. It’s infested with roaches the linens were dirty the elevator doesn’t work if you’re able please go else where if you want to be comfortable"

"Nothing fancy. Very utilitarian. Because I was traveling solo, I did not mind. If I was with a significant other, I would probably have chosen to pay more to stay somewhere else. The staff was polite. There was adequate parking."

"Staff were overly involved. I expected more privacy. Also, I paid a $50 cash deposit and never saw it again and I know for a fact my room was left in perfect condition."

"Cockroaches everywhere"

"Staff was nice and attentive. That was the only good thing about the property. First I was given a room someone was already in, elevator did not work, ice machines did not work, my room had to be pushed hard to open, room door had to be closed hard, room door did not lock, killed one roach and other bugs, and tv remote had no battery cover. I guess you get what you pay for."

"Holiday Inn Express next door was full of life. For the size of this property there were not even 10 cars. Pool was not operational. Property looked like something from skid row. Was charge an early check-in fee when it was only 10 minutes (2:50p) before regular check-in time (3:00p) and room was already turned over for next guest."

"Thilth. The place was thilthy. I mean the hallway. I do admit that the guy at the front desk had some semblance of good customer service skills. The halls were thilthy. Breakfast was nothing to write home about."

"First, it took me about 40 minutes to be standing at the door just to wait for somebody to come check me in the breakfast needs to be taken off of the Expedia because they do not serve breakfast the gym all the equipment is tore up. You cannot use it. It was just a terrible experience and I will not be back."
