"We had to go to 3 or4 rooms until we found one that was less smelly. The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful but why were all the rooms so smelly and dirty? the area is also pretty sketchy and we were approached by some shady characters when going out to our car to get things. i would not recommend. It is close toIH 10 so it is convenient but next time we travel we we will drive further out to get a clean and good smelling hotel in a safer area."

"Very friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds, and the breakfast was good. The kids loved the indoor pool, that was the main reason we booked City Express. Would definitely recommend and be coming again. Wouldve been nice to have some options of meds to purchase like benadryl, ibuprofen, aspirin but not complaining at all. Really enjoyed our stay."

"I was in town for a concert. This was a reasonable place to stay. The hotel is, in general, budget friendly and you get what you pay for. I felt safe and the property was in acceptable condition. I would not recommend stays longer than a weekend."

The representative, Mike, was incredibly nonchalant and dismissive. Rather than checking on my missing item, he bizarrely started questioning me about an ice bucket. The lack of professionalism and care was shocking. I am furious with how I was treated and will absolutely never stay here again.""

"The staff over the phone was very helpful but when my daughter checked in late at night and didn’t feel safe at all. She ended up driving away and going to another hotel. Most of the property was closed down, windows had wood boards on the windows. Not family friendly at all."

It's extra like I really just want some some type of compensation.Cause it was actually a ridiculous stay.I couldn't even sleep!"

"Great customer service, unfortunately there’s a smell of old, I found a cockroach in the bathroom, although I didn’t find any bed bugs I was scratching myself here and there, there were stain on the floor. Overall the place needs an improvement on cleanliness and get rid of that smell."

"First day was terrible found hair on the pillows, bed sheets were dirty and I asked for clean bed sheets they were still dirty had to change them myself, toilet seat had some residue on it not sure what and found bugs on bed when waking up. Don’t recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in Louisiana for a week even if it is a bit on the cheaper side."
