"A lovely old hotel in a beautiful setting and great location for exploring the borders. Clean room and very friendly staff. Welcomed our dog. Lovely breakfast."

"The hotel is a bit tired. My room was adequate. The bed comfortably and the shower worked. But it was dated. The bar sold a good selection of craft beers and was quite lively with live music on 2 of the 3 nights I stayed."
